Oversaw extracurricular arts activities, events, and fundraisers for over 4,000 students in all departments: Music, Film, Design, Visual Arts, Dance, Theatre, and Digital Media.
Worked with faculty and successfully amended several arts requirements to allow students to take interdisciplinary non-major courses.
Creator of the Media Music Concert, a student showcase featuring film, TV, and video game music arranged and performed by students. In 2020, the show celebrated its 10th anniversary, making it a staple of the York U Music student experience.

Orchestra Manager & Educator

Celebrity Symphony Orchestra | Dr. Andrzej Rozbicki, Music Director
(2012-2017)

Served under the tutelage and mentorship of Dr. Rozbicki for over 10 years (beginning from high school).
Became orchestra manager in 2012, in charge of the following: orchestra/musician bookings, budget negotiations, sheet music cataloguing and printing, rehearsal scheduling and organization, graphic design and concert branding (posters, program booklets, marketing materials), video production (concert recordings, editing, promotional clips, sound mixing).
Worked closely with Maestro Rozbicki to conceptualize and create all concert programmes and researched all guest artists (from Poland, Canada, and around the world) to be featured in each performance, along with instrumental selections to highlight the symphony orchestra’s versatility.
From 2013-2015, the CSO and Toronto Catholic District School Board organized 3 European summer tours for Grade 11-12 music students. Worked as a trip supervisor and educator during visits to the continent’s major musical cities, concert halls and theatres: Vienna, Paris, Warsaw, Milan, Venice, Berlin, Salzburg, Prague, Krakow, among others.
Became composer-in-residence in 2013, composed and arranged original music as well as adaptations from Polish classical repertoire, including Chopin, Penderecki, Kilar, Paderewski, Buczynski, among others.
Performed 5 concerts at Hammerson Hall in the Living Arts Center over the years, including the premiere of an original composition, Bishop Marrocco Rhapsody, at age 18.

Industry Recognitions

2-time Hollywood Music in Media Awards winner (9-time nominee). Competed in categories with AAA Hollywood composers such as Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water), Dario Marianelli (Pride & Prejudice), and fellow Canadian and Oscar-winning composer Michael Danna (Life of Pi), pictured on the right.
5-time SOCAN Foundation Award winner in Audio/Visual category.
Film scores have been featured in festivals around the world, including TIFF, Cannes, and Idyllwild.
Scored over 30+ media projects ranging from short & feature films, console and mobile video games, TV advertising, and interactive theatre.

Body of Work

4 compositions for full orchestra: Bishop Marrocco Rhapsody (2009), Homage to the Polish President (2010), Polish Rhapsody (2012), La Sonatigrand (2012).
2 piano nocturnes: Buenos Aires Nocturne (2010), Shadow of Night (2012).
Over 1,000 minutes of music scored to picture for film and video games, including 7 soundtrack albums.
Recorded the soundtrack album to the feature film Quarries (2016) with 5-time Juno award-winning classical guitarist Liona Boyd.
Have worked as a MIDI orchestrator for several composers in Toronto and Los Angeles, offering specialty services in realistic MIDI orchestral mockups for post-production process, before producer/director approval for orchestral recording sessions.

Client industries range from travel and tourism, luxury yachts, artists and filmmakers, real estate developers, industrial and construction, as well as non-profits and charitable organizations, etc.
Have worked exclusively with a select number of large marketing firms as principal designers and brand developers.
